1996 VW PASSAT TDI with only 182,377 miles IN GREAT CONDITION. This car is mechanically sound. I've owned this car since 1999 (car had 59,000 miles on it when I purchased it). I regularly get 44mpg. Together with an 18 gallon fuel tank, you should expect 750+ miles per tank. (I've gotten very close to 800 myself). The car has been a joy to own and has been the least problematic vehicle I've ever owned. I'm selling it because I just purchased a new 2007 Jetta (yes I'm a VW fan), so it is time to find "Teddi" a new home.
Vehicle Condition
This car is mechanically in great condition. It runs, drives and handles well and is very comfortable for long-distance driving. In fact, I would have no hesitations driving this car cross-country if I had to. The tires are nearly new, are awesome in the snow, have minimal wear (see photo) and should last for several years with normal driving. All of the options on this vehicle work properly. The interior is in great condition with normal wear and tear for a vehicle its age. This car has no rust. Only Mobil Delvac 1 oil (expensive and designed for modern diesel motors) was ever used in this vehicle.
