Michael Sullivan

is an Architect in the Knowledge Service group of divine inc. His specialty is designing electronic catalogs and other content-rich websites for clients such as GE Lighting, Lucent, Media General, and Eaton Corp. Previously, he was partner and artistic director of Haywood & Sullivan from 1986-1996, an award-winning, full-service information design firm.

Holding degrees in both design and computer science, throughout the 90s, Mr. Sullivan was a frequent contributor to design and computer-related design publications , such as HOW and Publish. He was also a regular lecturer/faculty at Seybold Seminars and other design-related conferences. His book entitled Make Your Scanner a Great Design & Production Tool was released in 1996 as a second edition.

In a previous life, he was an advertising photographer (see his photography portfolio) and photography continues to be a major influence in his life. His current hobbies include restoring/customizing his 1987 VW 4wd camper, travel, and listening to and collecting intellgent, alternative music.

The rest of his time is devoted to his teenage daughter and his wife, Liz, herself an accomplished pastel artist.
